Plot:
King Gwang-hae orders his councilor, Heo Gyun to find a double in order to avoid the constant threat of assassination. Heo Gyun find Ha-sun, a lowly acrobat and bawdy joker who looks like the king. Just as feard, King Gwang-hae is poisoned. Heo Gyun proposes Ha-Sun fill the role as the king unlit King Gwang-hae fully recovers. Ha-sun is groom to look and act every bit of the king.
Masquerade is the type of movie I will never watch if I was trying the find a movie. I asked my brother to recommend a movie for me. You can guess, it was Masquerade.
The acting in Masquerade was top notch; each character is brought to life. The growth and changes in a character can be seem. The story is well written with no drag. The movie is simply and beautifully filmed that just pulls you in. Masquerade is an engaging and charming period piece with humor, action, and romance.
